I’M SO GLAD TO MEET YOU

Hi, I’m Linda of Linda Carol Creations and if you love quality, you’re at the right place. I’m located in Historic Franklin, TN just south of Nashville and I’m a retired “Southern Belle” after 42 years with BellSouth/AT&T. My shop name is in memory of my brother who always called me Linda Carol, because, growing up we were always called by our first and middle names. I hated it at the time, but somehow it brings comfort to me now. As a customer myself, I want quality products. As a Wreath Designer, I search for the best quality materials I can find, including Ribbon…and I have discovered I am a ribbon addict! I love creating something you’re going to be proud of and I can’t wait to work with you.

MY JOURNEY

I am mother to 2 adult sons and 5 adult step children. I have 14 grandchildren, 3 great children and 2 Golden Retrievers that I adore!

I have always been a creative person. I learned to sew in high school, and the very first thing I bought with my 1st paycheck was a sewing machine. I enjoyed making costumes for my sons when they were small and home décor items. Because of my love for needlework, I opened a little shop called, The Thread Basket. Although I worked full time, my heart was there in that shop. However, when my youngest son was born with cleft lip and pallet, his care took priority in my life and I made the decision to close the shop after 2 years.

I lost my husband in early 2012 and discovered wreath making while searching for something to occupy my mind. My first wreath was for Valentine’s Day. I was hooked! And, when I realized the difference it made using quality Florals and Ribbon…well, let’s just say…there was no turning back. The creative outlet of wreath design is just what I needed.
